Alice Colucci really wants a dog. And after taking one look at Uno winning Best in Show at Westminster this week, she really, really wants a beagle.

AT least 65 people have been killed by a suicide blast while watching a dog fight in Afghanistan overnight.

RICHMOND, Va. - Michael Vick and his attorneys were still negotiating with federal prosecutors Thursday, hoping to strike a deal on a plea agreement, according to a lawyer familiar with the case.

Bill would extend court orders of protection to family pets |

NASHVILLE (AP) -- Women's rights and animal protection advocates say legislation that would extend court orders of protection to family pets is long overdue.
The bill passed by state lawmakers during the recent General Assembly and headed to Gov. Phil Bredesen for his consideration would allow adults to obtain court orders of protection for themselves that would also extend to any pets.
